ZShock, Natural Pond Light Barrier for Algae Control

ZShock is a natural mineral-based pond treatment designed to create a protective biofilm layer on the water surface that helps reduce sunlight penetration into the pond. By limiting excessive light, ZShock helps slow algae growth and supports faster water clarification when combined with beneficial bacteria treatments like BioShock Extreme.

Unlike harsh chemical algaecides, ZShock works with nature to create a healthier aquatic ecosystem while remaining safe for fish, aquatic plants, pets, livestock, and wildlife.

Naturally Reduce Sunlight. Naturally Reduce Algae.

Benefits:

✔ Helps block excessive sunlight entering the water
✔ Naturally slows algae development
✔ Accelerates pond recovery and water clarification
✔ Supports healthier pond ecosystems
✔ Safe for fish, koi, turtles, frogs, and aquatic life
✔ Safe for pets, farm animals, and wildlife
✔ Mineral-based and environmentally friendly
✔ Works great alongside beneficial bacteria programs
✔ Easy application for ponds and lakes

How It Works:

ZShock forms a thin natural mineral film on the pond surface that helps reduce the amount of sunlight reaching deeper water layers. Since algae rely heavily on sunlight for rapid growth, reducing light penetration helps weaken bloom conditions naturally without harming the ecosystem.

For best results, use alongside aeration and beneficial bacteria treatments to reduce excess nutrients and organic waste.
